Spring Has Already Sprung In New York City
Spring has already sprung in New York City. The layers are coming off and dressing up in the morning is getting much easier. Can you agree? I've become much more energized and motivated and a lot more creative.
This weeks I chose to show you my new fave-to-date outfit and it must do a lot with the now trending -horn buttons -Can you tell? The top is made from cotton fabric in a dusty rose color (my favorite now) and three buttons down that open if you ever wanted to wear this top unbuttoned. The sleeves are guttered up at the shoulder which gives me that broad shoulder look. The skirt is linen, and it has a lining half way down because it is naturally sheer especially when in white color. The buttons on the skirt are only attached as a decoration and don't have a special function, but I really think that they make the whole skirt. Usually, I tuck my top in because I feel that it gives me a better body line. I really like this top on its own so this morning in order to show it off I tried it untucked. That obviously didn't work for me, so I went back to my regular habit.
My little suggestion is to always follow your body shape and figure out what works best for you by styling your clothes in different ways. I always remind myself that clothes are not about what you are wearing, it is much more about how you are wearing it.
