Teddy bear outfit on a snow day

It's a snow season and I couldn't be happier. Beside the fact that is hard to walk or drive outside, I love the feeling of being home watching the snow piling up on the ground. There something so humbling about that and I don't know why.

Even though I spent a lot of time at home, I honestly did not write a list of my new year resolutions. To me it seems kind of forced and unrealistic. It's nice to see people out there getting motivated to start a healthier lifestyle, change their bad old habits or start focusing more on what they love. It makes me even happier when I see that people stay consistent and focused. If the 'new year new me' is something that works, then I guess it's not a bad idea, but it is not my cup of tea. I like to start things more organically. I am not saying that people shouldn't set goals for themselves, in fact any day or time of the year is perfect to work towards achieving them and improving ourselves.

This is my first outfit post of the year and of course I have the snow as a backdrop. I love layering, so for this outfit I throw on a basic quarter button shirt and my favorite jeans. I really miss my jean jacket during the winter, so I layered it under my over sized coat. It gives it a cool street style vibe and it's a win win for me! This favorite beanie (similar here) of mine I've had for such a long time and I don't have a plan to get rid of any time soon.  And finally, my faux fur scarf keeps me so cozy this whole winter I can't live without it. You can find it here.
I am looking forward to this year's adventures and challenges. I hope to be able to create and experiment with more outfits and new styles.
