~Avoiding jacket for a few more days.

Hi friends!!! Thanks for coming back to my blog and welcome to the new friends. This week is all about the neutrals; ok mostly creams, and how to break a monochrome outfit by adding statement accessories. It’s the perfect sweater weather in the city and I can’t stop but wear chunky sweaters. While it might be a little too soon to add a jacket over it, I tend to layer underneath. Therefore I stocked up on some Uniqlo heattech pieces that keep me from getting the chills from the wind and at the same time my body can breathe when I’m indoors. It is a good way to avoid an extra piece of clothing that you might end up carrying it over your hand for the most part. I try to keep my hands free when going for long walks in the city. The comfier the better.

When it comes to picking the color, anything off-white works for me. Clearly I don’t believe in the saying that you shouldn’t be wearing white after Labor Day, but at least I try to play with shades more suited for this weather. And finally, statement piece to bring some life to your monochrome look is a must. You can’t go wrong with a mini statement purse on a weekend. Statement bags can be expensive for its purpose and practicality. Eventually it becomes an addiction and you can’t stop buying more (it’s happening!)-just kidding. In fact I like to look at it as something it’s worth investing because it really elevates you basic looks.
